Life of the Virgin, Stained Glass, Siena Cathedral, 1288 AD

A stained-glass rose window from the Siena Cathedral in Siena, Italy, depicting scenes from the Life of Virgin Mary — Death, Assumption and Coronation. The Siena Cathedral rose window is the earliest, and quite possibly the most important example of Italian stained glass in existence. The spectacular vitrage masterpiece was designed and created by Duccio di Buoninsegna in 1287–88 as a massive, 9-panel, 23 ft (7 m) in diameter oculus, for the Duomo di Siena, in Tuscany. The current print is a gallery-quality, Gouttelette fine art print, output on premium semimatte (low gloss) photo paper, with the highest color gamut available for vivid color recreation, and elegant semimatte finish.
