This visually stunning map, depicting the British operations around New York City during the Campaign of 1776, was originally issued in January, 1777, in London, by Joseph Frederick Wallet Des Barres. The map has amazing topographic detail and soundings of the harbor and the Hudson River. This particular issue was prepared for the 1864 edition of Valentine’s Manual of Old New York; includes a detailed table of references. (Shown frame is not included.)
