A stained-glass rose window from the Siena Cathedral in Siena, Italy, depicting scenes from the Life of Virgin Mary — Death, Assumption and Coronation. The Siena Cathedral rose window is the earliest, and quite possibly the most important example of extant Italian stained glass. This spectacular masterpiece was created by Duccio di Buoninsegna in 1287–1288 as a massive, 9-panel, 23 ft (7 m) in diameter oculus, for the Duomo di Siena, in Tuscany. The current print is a gallery-quality, Gouttelette fine art print, output on premium semimatte (low gloss) photo paper, with the highest color gamut available, for vivid chromatic recreation and elegant semimatte finish. The print is custom-framed in an elegant, black, wooden gallery frame, with backing and wires — ready to hang. (This item is also available unframed in our collection.)
