The map title reads: “Americae Peruvi (Pervvi) Aque Ita ut Postremum Detecta Traditur Recens Delineatio” (Peruvian America [and the] Waters as it is Fnally Revealed in the Recently Disclosed Depiction). The map features inset plans of Cusco and Mexico City, and is richly adorned with ships and sea monsters.
